SESM has been identified as the entrusted subject for configuration management of the TX-RX apparatuses Firmware, used in SELEX-SI multilateration systems.

Besides, SESM follows the activities of technological presidium, for SELEX-SI and Finmeccanica, of the embedded systems standardization WGs.

SESM has involved from 2007 in the reengineering activities of multilateration sensors to be installed in Fiumicino Airport (Rome).

Other research activities are made within the Radar Research Centre (Rome laboratory), in collaboration with Tor Vergata University.
