Embedded Systems: pSHIELD project started
On tuesday 8th June, in Ansaldo STS branch of Naples, it has been held the Kick-off meeting of pSHIELD research project, funded in the framework of ARTEMIS program. pSHield is a pilot project coordinated by SESM and will concern the research of SPD (Security, Privacy, Dependability) in the context of Embedded Systems. read more

Homeland Security: Kick-off ARGUS 3D european project
On thursday 14th January, in SELEX Sistemi Integrati firm of Rome, SESM partecipated as partner at the Kick-off meeting of ARGUS 3D european project. The research project, leaded by SELEX-SI, concerns passive radar usage in Homeland Security field.

Kick-off CRITICAL STEP european project
On tuesday 12nd January, in CINI laboratory of Naple University Federico II, it has been held the Kick-off meeting of CRITICAL STEP european project, in wich SESM will play a key-role as partner. The project, funded by the European Commission within Marie Curie Programme, will investigate software technology in the fields of Critical Systems and Air Traffic Management.The project objectives are to stimulate collaboration and technology tranfer through exchange of personnel between international partners.

Airport security: SESM starts the ATOM european project
On Friday 3th July 2009 it has been held the kick-off meeting of ATOM european project, about airport security. The event has been hosted by SESM scarl inside SELEX Sistemi Integrati plant of Rome. Inauguration of COSMIC laboratory
February 18th 2008 it will be held the inauguration of COSMIC public-private laboratory. The event will take place inside the laboratory, nearby SELEX Sistemi Integrati and SESM offices - Via Circumvallazione Esterna di Napoli - 80014 Giugliano (NA).
COSMIC is a public-private research centre of open source sw for mission critical services and applications (typical of Air Traffic Management).

New Iniziativa Software laboratory
On Monday 15th october 2007 it has been held the Kick-off meeting of a new research line, within Iniziativa Software, concerning design and development of a Linux distribution compliant with Finmeccanica companies' common requirments (HRT, Distribution customization, Safety, Security...).
