History

SESM started his activities in 1990, with registered office in Naples. The share of majority was owned by ALENIA MARCONI SYSTEMS Spa.

SESM has inherited the experiences and competences of other operational realities.
Particularly SESM is emanation of:

• SESPIM (Research Centre for the development of knowledge based systems for industry and service, shared by Italimpianti/Alenia/Olivetti)
• LIT (Laboratory of Information Technology, Alenia stab. Rome -Tiburtina)

In 1995 it began an important project about the realization of Advanced Products for the Diagnosis and Maintenance of high complexity and high technology systems.

In 2000 SESM started to develop prototypes of applications, about the connected thematics of ATM (Air Traffic Management), logistics and the aerial transports.

In 2003 it have been opened the Rome offices, in via Tiburtina, in the area of SELEX Sistemi Integrati headquarters.

In 2006 SESM has transferred the head operative office nearby the SELEX Sistemi Integrati offices of Giugliano (NA), completing integration with the principal Shareholder.
